Who Are We?
SCCS is 100% volunteer run cat sanctuary
We are a specific sanctuary for community cats that offers a safe haven for those that that have been forgotten, cast aside, or are in danger from people.
We provide much needed vet care and enrichment opportunities for the remainder of their lives.
The sanctuary has a mix of feral and friendly cats, but what they all have in common is a preference for and outdoor environment. Unfortunately, sometimes even friendly cats are not meant for an indoor home.
Here at SCCS we provide a loving and safe space to fit the individual needs of every cat we care for and ensure the best quality of life.
100% of Donations Help The Cats
Your generous donation assists with the cost of caring for our rescued animals and helps to keep us going and growing!
Your support is truly what allows us to not only provide the animals we rescue the absolute best care possible, but it also helps us to be able to continue rescuing more animals in need, and we appreciate your support more than you know!
Why We Are Different
Here at SCCS we believe every cat deserves the opportunity to live a happy healthy life regardless of how feral or friendly they may appear. Even unsocialized cats enjoy sun bathing in peace and chasing cat toys around.
We aim to treat every one of our rescued cats with the same love, dignity, and respect as every animal deserves.
There are very few resources to help community cats. However, regardless of all the challenges we face every day, we will continue to help, advocate, and fight for all cats in our community.
We are one of the only rescues dedicated to helping community cats. Whether by providing a safe place to land, helping with medical expenses or food or offering help with tnr we do it all to help our forgotten and abandoned feline friends.
We raise awareness of the importance of properly maintaining and ensuring upkeep on colonies for the remainder of their lives whether that be yearly bloodwork, dentals, life saving procedures, vaccinations, and other important vet care.
We strive to also help get friendly kitties eligible for adoption and off of the streets.
Community cats are the reason we get up every day and do what we do. They are the driving force to everything that we do. From the time we wake up, to the time we go to bed we are taking care of our kitties. driving to vet appointments, trapping them for check ups, monitoring for illness, medicating the ones who need additional care and providing necessary procedures. We are always looking at ways to improve their health, quality of life, and well being and pushing to achieve bigger and better things with each new challenge we face.
